Julia Burns Consulting offers tailored leadership development initiatives and programs. In her public sector career, Julia designed and ran both small and large-scale leadership development programs, including residential programs.
Her experience and interest is particularly focussed on working with individual leaders to strengthen their leadership skills and confidence, and help them to build and use a toolkit of management and leadership practices. Equipped with these tools, skills and confidence, managers can go on to make a profound difference in the culture and productivity of their teams and organisations.
Julia works with individuals and organisations to build appropriate leadership development models to meet their needs. For example, a small organisation might require a series of targeted presentations coupled with executive coaching for participants to address their specific needs and priorities. A senior executive could benefit from a tailored development plan devised in a discussion between their manager, themselves and Julia, with mentoring or executive coaching to help achieve the aims of the plan.
Julia also works with larger organisations and teams to develop leadership programs, delivered either as a one-off residential, in blocks throughout the year, or on a modular basis to meet the needs of different individuals within a team.
